Strategic Positioning in AI Infrastructure

Vertiv is expanding its role in the AI data center value chain by supplying systems that support ultra-high-density compute environments. Its reference designs support Nvidia’s (NASDAQ: NVDA) GB200 and NVL72 platforms, and its deployments, such as the turnkey iGenius project in Italy, illustrate how Vertiv is delivering fully integrated power and cooling systems tailored for AI.

The company is also navigating tariff risk through manufacturing in Mexico under the USMCA framework. This flexibility, along with operational improvements, has allowed Vertiv to maintain margins despite rising geopolitical headwinds.

For the last three years, Vertiv’s stock has significantly outperformed both Nvidia and the broader tech sector, according to Chart 4 below. Since mid-2022, Vertiv has delivered a 623.3% return compared to 446.2% for Nvidia and just 47.7% for the S&P Technology Select Sector Index. This performance highlights the market’s growing recognition of Vertiv for AI infrastructure buildouts.
